Fine Gas Co Ltd.
(FG) is an
unquoted public limited Co., incorporated in 1978. The company
manufactures
compressed and liquid industrial gases for consumption in hospitals, engineering, food and
chemicals industry. The factory is located on 4 acres of prime land in Kot Lakhpat
industrial estate in Lahore. FG started its production in 1978 with the setting up of an Air Separation Plant with a capacity of 6 tones/day (TPD). The production capacity was further enhanced by 25 (TPD) in 1985. Keeping in view the growing market of its products and the future expansion requirements of Industrial and Medical gases in the country, FG set up another Air Separation Plant of 100 TPD at Lahore : The largest and the most modern plant in Pakistan. Meanwhile, plans are under-way to shift the 25 TDP plant to Karachi, in order to tap the vast and lucrative market segment in the South. All the necessary arrangements, in this regard, are in place and FG has procured 2 acres of prime land in North-Western industrial zone, (Port Qasim Authority) Karachi, for this purpose. The facility would be established soon to make the products available such as Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon Gases both in Liquid and Compressed form along with other Industrial, Medical and Special Gases. These Air Separation plants are capable of producing Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen and Liquid Argon gases. FG is also capable of producing Nitrous Oxide Gas, used in Hospitals for providing anesthesia. Production is carried out at a modern Swiss plant, having a capacity of 30Kg/hour. Similarly, a Dissolved Acetylene Plant, with a capacity of 30 cubic meters/hour was set up in 1984, to meet the demand of Dissolved Acetylene in the Industrial And Commercial sector.
